We are delighted to welcome you to our new Center – a hub for students to receive personalized wrap around support and a new model for fostering career, professional and life success. The McCree Center provides all Mary Baldwin students opportunities to explore your interests and leverage that into experiences which can include various forms of internships, service learning, leadership, volunteering and so much more. We do this through personalized career focused advising that provides a road-map for envisioning your time at MBU — all in an effort to support your career goals leading up and beyond graduation.
In addition, the McCree Center will work for you to create partnerships with employers and organizations across various industries and not for profit sectors that enable you to engage in fields which will allow you to explore and prepare for life after MBU. Our focus is to create career pathways and help you integrate your experiences in conjunction with your academic studies.
A very special thank you to the generosity of board of trustees chair, Gabby McCree and her husband Don McCree, for their vision and support for the McCree Center. We’re just getting started and are looking forward to meeting all of you in the coming weeks.
