In this blog series, learn about each of MBU’s exchange partners. MBU undergraduate students who meet the specified criteria are encouraged to study abroad at our partner institutions. Up to one student/ academic year or two students/ semester are eligible to apply.
Sungshin Women’s University
MBU has one exchange partner, Sungshin Women’s University, located in Seoul, South Korea.
Although Sungshin is a women’s university, all MBU undergraduate students are eligible to apply. Students may choose to study for a semester or year, with the fall semester running September to December, or the spring semester from March to June.
Sungshin Women’s University offers ~50 courses in English a semester across a variety of disciplines:
- International Studies
- English
- Foreign languages: German, French, Japanese, Chinese, Korean
- Business (including Global Business)
- Communication
- Education
Although encouraged, no previous Korean language coursework is required and no Korean language courses must be taken during the program.
* Participants must have a 2.0 GPA to apply for this study abroad program.
