Our exchange students went on two sponsored outings together this fall. These outings were opportunities for the students to see different parts of Virginia and experience unique activities alongside supportive MBU Global Ambassadors.
In September, the group came to Charlottesville to explore the Downtown Mall and shop at international grocery stores like Cville Oriental, Foods of All Nations and Medina Market. Since it was a Saturday, they also had the opportunity to visit a market where local produce and handcrafted goods were for sale.
In October, the group traveled all the way out to Liberty Mills Farm in Somerset, Virginia. There, they were able to explore multiple corn mazes and pick pumpkins in the pumpkin patch. The outing concluded with dinner at Thai Staunton Restaurant.
