Late-stage graduate students and junior postdoctoral fellows are invited to attend the 2025 Recruitment Summit for CHOP/Penn Postdoctoral Scholars in Cell Biology and Genomics. Meet expert faculty who are recruiting postdocs to work in cutting-edge research labs at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and the University of Pennsylvania (Penn). EligibilityLate-stage graduate students (within one year of completing their graduate programs) and junior postdoctoral fellows (within one to two years of receiving their doctoral degree) are eligible for this opportunity. We strongly encourage individuals from diverse backgrounds, life and research experiences, and employment histories to apply. While this program is open to both US Citizens and Foreign Nationals, applicants must reside within the United States at the time of application to be considered for the program. Selected candidates who live more than 50 miles from the city of Philadelphia will be eligible for coverage of travel costs. SalaryCHOP ensures that the Research Institute is up to date with best practices in postdoctoral compensation. The starting salary for candidates with no previous postdoctoral experience is $66,300. Postdocs receive an annual salary increase following successful completion of their annual review:• 0 years of experience = $66,300• 1 year = $66,810• 2 years = $67,320• 3 years = $67,830• 4 years = $68,340 Postdocs are also eligible for our full employee benefits program, including health insurance, paid time off, retirement savings plans, student loan repayment, commuter benefits, and parental leave.
