Perfect role for a recent BSW graduate who’s passionate about supporting children and families.

Riverside Family Support is looking for a compassionate and motivated Youth and Family Specialist to join our team! This position is ideal for someone with a Bachelor’s in Social Work (BSW) or a related human services field who is interested in working directly with families involved in the child welfare system.

What You’ll Do:
You’ll provide prevention and reunification services to families navigating complex situations, often in partnership with social services, schools, and other community providers. The goal is to strengthen family connections, support parenting, and help families build stability and resilience. Services take place in a variety of settings, including client homes, schools, community locations, and any of our three office spaces—wherever the family feels most supported.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A strong interest in working with children and families
  • Ability to build rapport and work well with people from all walks of life
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • A flexible, problem-solving mindset
  • Availability to work until 7 p.m. at least two evenings per week

Schedule & Benefits:

  • Flexible, part-time, or full-time hours based on your availability
  • PTO after 6 months
  • Paid documentation time
  • Mileage reimbursement
  • Cell phone stipend
  • Unlimited coffee
  • Supportive team and trauma-informed culture
  • Note: We do not offer health insurance at this time

We are looking for someone who can commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week, with flexibility in scheduling and availability to work until 7 p.m. at least two evenings each week. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in child welfare work while being part of a passionate, mission-driven organization that believes in the power of connection and healing.
